Nairobi Climate Network Annual Report 2023
We're excited to share NCN's annual report for 2023! This report has been written for our members and details NCN’s community growth, representation, achievements, and impact over the past year, alongside plans for 2024.
Community: In 2023, NCN grew to 1,136 members, representing over 700 organisations.
Connect: By the end of 2023, NCN had delivered 26 events attended by over 1,600 people.
Collaborate: NCN members are working across multiple sectors and industries. 42% are involved in Nature-based solutions, 38% in Renewable Energy, and 25% in Waste and Circular Economy initiatives. Find more data across other thematic areas in the report. Our online platforms brought together members to share opportunities and collaborate with peers and partners.
Contribute: NCN played a crucial role in shaping climate policy in Kenya, particularly with activities during the Africa Climate Summit and in influencing carbon markets regulations through the carbon markets working group.
