Chapters
The Climate Network is currently active in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and South Africa. It's up to you to start a new chapter in your country!
What is a chapter?
Our chapters are local communities of climate professionals, co-founded and led by dedicated local climate leaders. Each chapter embraces our shared vision, mission, and values, following a proven chapter blueprint that provides guidance based on the successes of other countries.
The Chapter Blueprint
The Climate Network offers each local chapter a comprehensive blueprint, equipping founders with the tools, resources, and guidance needed to build a thriving community. This blueprint includes eligibility criteria for new members, streamlined registration and onboarding processes, access to a central member platform, event templates, communications materials, and incubation funding and administrative support.
Recognising that most local co-founders balance other full-time roles, our support enables them to leverage shared resources efficiently. With this foundation, they can focus on what matters most — building a strong local community, hosting impactful events, and fostering collaborations that drive meaningful climate action.
Our values

All our local chapters align to our shared values:
Ambitious providing a platform for meaningful content that translates to action
Collaborative bridging sector divides, industries and competitors
Inclusive connecting senior leaders from corporates to communities
Local membership based locally and focused on local stakeholder
